How to Add Voiceover to a Video
The 「Add Voiceover」 feature automatically detects the language of the text you enter and reads it naturally using the speaker voice you select. It’s perfect for narration scenarios such as explainers, tutorial walkthroughs, product introductions, and story additions.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to:
Create a 「Add Voiceover」 project
Add and edit voiceover content
Create a Project
Go to the Projects page and click 「Add Voiceover」.
Click 「Click」 to select a local video (you can also drag and drop the video into the upload area); or click 「YouTube Link」 and paste the video URL to import.
After the video upload is complete, click 「Submit」 to start processing.
Add and Edit Voiceover Content
After the upload finishes, you’ll enter the editor and can preview the video content.
Click 「Dubbing」 on the left to open the dubbing content dashboard. Drag the timeline to the time point where you want to add voiceover, then click 「Add Voiceover」 in the bottom panel to create a voiceover segment.
Click 「Add subtitles」 in the middle of the dubbing content dashboard, and the system will automatically create a voiceover text box at the same time point.
After you type your voiceover text into the text box, the system will automatically detect the text language and read it out loud: for example, if you enter Japanese, it will generate the voiceover in Japanese pronunciation. After editing, remember to click 「Update」 to sync the content.
Dubbing content dashboard: determines what the character “speaks” (audio lines).
Subtitle content dashboard: determines what appears on screen as subtitles.
After you edit dubbing content, subtitles will sync automatically; if you don’t want them to sync, edit the subtitle content dashboard separately
After everything is finished, click 「Export」 in the top-right corner, choose the resolution and format, and export your video.
